   I tried to use this dxautoinstaller to install devexpress.QuantumGrid Suite. Could anybody help me with that…It gives me some error.

    Server 2008 下我没做过测试，估记是 izunzip32 在 2008 下有兼容性问题，你到 info-zip 网站下载一个最新的 unzip32.dll 替换安装目录下的同名文件试一试。

    so what i founded:
    if i extract this .rar, and try install the packages i cant.
    somes packages intall, some not install.

    then, i put in the devautoinstaller the DevExpress Vcl Delphi 2007.rar to extract, not pack by pack, and WORKED!!! all packs installed.

    But i have one pack Skins ( is not in the DevExpress Vcl Delphi 2007.rar ), and cant install =/ .

    then i Added the Skins pack into ‘DevExpress Vcl Delphi 2007.rar’, but didint worked.

    Says an error : dxSkinsDefaultPaintners.pas(42) Fatal: F1026 File not found: ‘dxSkinsCore.dcu’
    Compilation Failure.

    What i do to install Skins?

    Hi Eduardo,

    1. Extract DevExpress vcl*.rar;
    2. Copy your skin package to ExpressSkins Library directory;
    3. Open Packages.ini ( in DxAutoInstaller directory), and added your Package name to ExpressSkins Library-PackageFiles;

    I hope this was helpful.

    But what package name i type into package.ini ?

    If your package file name is MySkinD11.dpk, the package name of type into packages.ini is MySkin.

    Ah Ok. but is the thing:

    i opened my directory of .dpk files (”..\ExpressSkins Library\Packages”)

    and ALL of my dpk is already typed in packages.ini , and not worked =/

    u have and idea what i do?
    maybe my version its bugged, dont know… u can upload in rapidshare ur version?

    please add expressSkins\sources\ directory to delphi search path.

    u can try vclskin, suiPack, businessSkinForm or DynamicSkinForm.

    yeah i did.

    first step: Tools\Options\Library-Win32\library path … add\..DevExpress Skins Library\Source

    second step: File\Open Project\dxSkinsCoreD11 ….

    at project manager i set dxSkinsCoreD11.bpl try compile, and error:

    [DCC Error] dxSkinsDefaultPainters.pas(42): F1026 File not found: ‘dxSkinsCore.dcu’

    “uses
    Windows, SysUtils, Classes, dxGDIPlusApi, cxLookAndFeelPainters, dxSkinsCore,”

    and the source directory is added in path… =/ what im doing wrong?!

    Because i have many components of devexpress, i extracted all in directory, and with vcl autoinstaller install eveything… but if i add Skins Library into, pufff the same error…

    Now i got other problem, i copy ur Devexpress Library to directory, and try install all, but i got error when vclautoinstaller try install:

    compile package failed cxLibraryD11.dpk;
    undeclared identifier ‘TdxTheme’
    (…);

    I need download a vcl.rar with skins to compile all….
    if i mix packs i cant compile….

    i have to find a .rar with Skins,NavBar, and Bars together.

    i guess compile diferent versions do not work.

    if anyone have a .rar for delphi 2007 codegear , with skins,navbar, and bars please contact me!!

    yes, you are right.
    you need download a full devExpress vcl component packages.

    im using now !!

    just a litlle problem, some things its Chinese!! but ok

    u guess if i open all .dfm and type for portuguese , and compile i fix this?!

    Did you install the version .38 with this installer? The VCL Installer don’t show anyone error. I’ve tried to install the version .37 with it. Fisrt I put all paths into INI file, after I run the executable, nothing happens. What the procedure to install all components with INI file correctly?

    You do not need to edit the INI file, direct running the dxAutoInstaller.exe.
